SORSEN is seeking a professional and dependable Patrol Officer to join our security team. This position is responsible for conducting mobile patrols of assigned properties, responding to alarms and service calls, documenting incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter criminal activity. Officers will be required to drive a company vehicle for the entire shift, so a clean driving record and responsible vehicle operation are essential. The ideal candidate is observant, proactive, and able to work independently while making sound decisions in the field. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in report writing, incident response, and situational awareness, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a future career in law enforcement.
The available schedule is Monday-Friday 8pm to 4am
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Security: 1 year (Preferred)
Requirement's:
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- No criminal convictions
- A clean driving record
- Washington state Unarmed security guard license (preferred)
- Able to Be mobile- some walking required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Verifying the security of various properties.
- Locking and unlocking gates and doors as directed.
- Logging maintenance related issues, as directed by Post Orders.
- Monitoring alarm systems and electronic surveillance equipment.
- Assesses the severity of a situation and uses adequate procedures to resolve conflict
- Reports all incidents of an emergent nature that involve potential damage or injury to any individual within a facility or property.
- Patrolling interior and exterior perimeters of the assigned post.
- Clearly and concisely documents information for incident reports
- Performs other related duties as required.
Purpose:
- Ensure the client, its associates, facility personnel, patrons and guests are provided with a safe and professional working environment.
- Covering an assignment at a fixed Post, or patrol an area, facility, or Location for the purpose of detecting and preventing individuals or groups from committing acts which are injurious to other individuals or to property.
