We are looking for a highly motivated Construction Security Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the safety and security of our construction site by managing access control, conducting roving patrols, performing ID scans, and investigating security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction site security, surveillance techniques, and risk management, along with experience in investigating potential security breaches or safety concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Manage entry and exit points of the construction site, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed access. Perform ID checks, scan badges, and verify credentials to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Roving Patrols:Conduct regular roving patrols across the site, monitoring for security threats, identifying potential risks, and ensuring the safety of workers and equipment.
- ID Scanning & Verification:Use ID scanning systems to verify the identity of all site visitors and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and tracking personnel access to restricted areas.
- Incident Investigations:Investigate security breaches, theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities on the construction site. Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate future risks.
- Security Reporting:Maintain thorough records of all security-related incidents, including incidents of theft, safety violations, and unauthorized access. Prepare detailed reports for management and law enforcement, as required.
- Collaboration with Management:Work closely with construction site managers and project supervisors to ensure seamless integration of security protocols within daily operations. Advise on improvements for site security and safety.
- Emergency Response:Respond to emergencies, including accidents, medical emergencies, fires, or security threats. Follow emergency procedures and ensure the safety of all personnel on-site.
- Risk Assessments:Perform regular site assessments to identify vulnerabilities in security and safety measures. Provide feedback to improve overall security and reduce risks.
