As our Restaurant Manager, you’ll guide one of the most defining guest experiences on property. This role blends thoughtful leadership, elevated service, and a deep connection to our land, farm partners, and local community.
What You’ll LeadRestaurant & Team Leadership
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to deliver seamless, high‑touch service.
- Lead, train, and mentor the FOH team with a focus on professionalism, warmth, and continuous growth.
Sustainability & Local Sourcing
- Champion sustainable practices across all food and beverage operations.
- Partner with our on‑property farm and local purveyors to source seasonal, regional ingredients.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menus that reflect seasonality and guest preferences.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every dining moment—from casual meals to refined evening service—meets Sorrel’s luxury wilderness standard.
- Respond to guest feedback with care, urgency, and professionalism.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintain strict food‑safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure staff training is current.
Inventory, Vendors & OS&E
- Manage food, beverage, and OS&E inventory with accuracy and cost awareness.
- Oversee receiving, storage, and FIFO rotation.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing.
Events & Cross‑Property Collaboration
- Support ranch events that highlight local cuisine and culture.
- Partner with other departments to create integrated luxury experiences.
Financial Stewardship
- Manage department budgets and implement cost‑efficient practices without compromising quality.
- BA in Hospitality or 3–5 years of management experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and experience resolving guest or team issues.
- Knowledge of POS systems (Toast preferred).
- Passion for sustainability, local sourcing, and servant leadership.
- Strong financial acumen and organizational skills.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
