Job Description:
Sorella Group, Inc. is a national specialty contractor and building material supplier. You will play a vital role in supporting the overall operations of our Kansas City office. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual capable of managing receptionist and administrative tasks, coordinating office activities, and support for other teammates and management.
Responsibilties:
- Create a positive first impression to clients visiting our office. Greet and extend a warm welcome to walk-in guests in a friendly professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Data entry & clerical functions.
- Provide administrative support to support staff, such as maintaining project files, typing, scanning, mailing, etc.
- Aid team members by accurately and efficiently recording information to the Company databases.
- Maintaining the Company break/conference room, ordering supplies, keeping it neat and stocked.
- Assist setting up for company meetings, preparing notes, announcements, spreadsheets, running reports, etc.
- Assist in event preparation for the office or any other Sorella Group events.
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable in fulfilling the work schedule by arriving on time and being available to cover the Front Desk during the required business hours.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
- Must be detail oriented, analytical, have strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with teammates and customers.
- Flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute requests in a fast-paced environment. A team player, ready and willing to take on whatever challenge is offered.
- Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words, Teams, Outlooks, etc. and the ability to adapt quickly to additional programs.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
