Requirements / Qualifications
Education: -Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited program. -Registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Experience: -At least (1) year experience as a professional in a school district is desirable -Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred. Credentials: -A valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in the areas of School Social Work or School Counseling, or School Psychology.
