Plant Controller

While reporting to the RPC Business Unit Controllership Team, you will be responsible for performing all accounting related activities. This includes but is not limited to maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulations.

What You'll Be Doing

• In preparing analyses and reports on production performance, payroll, inventory, month-end closing, etc.
• Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support processes including, but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger (e.g., review and approve manual journal entries, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements), fixed assets, and necessary support for treasury and tax/trade compliance including variance analysis.
• Prepare, consolidate, and reconcile financial reports for month end closing. Direct, analyze, and verify month end closing entries as well as profit and loss statements.
• Create or modify programs and reports to improve efficiency of various administrative tasks. Implement new procedures as required by corporate or division staff.
• Create or modify various reports and databases as needed for management of the business. Provide detailed financial data to plant and division personnel as requested.
• Analyze and report plant operational performance. Utilize data to monitor and report performance by machine, by department, or by shift.
• Build and maintain productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction. Provide direction, training, and development as needed. Provide coaching, counseling, or discipline as needed. Work with HR to address employee concerns and issues.
• Responsible for maintaining internal controls over all areas of the business.
  
  

We Would Love To Hear From You If

• You have a minimum of a four-year Finance degree, preferably in Accounting.
• Certification: CPA. CMA or MBA
• Experience as a Plant Controller/Administrative Manager
  
  

This is on-site position will be located at our Plant in Jackson, TN with potential hybrid consideration. Our ideal candidate will be within a reasonable, commutable driving distance to the plant location.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role is from $98,000 - $110,250 plus an annual target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.

A bonus is awarded to eligible employees upon attaining various business and individual goals as defined by the Company and the department leader. This annual bonus is discretionary, and the Company has sole discretion to determine the amount of the award.
