What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant - Manufacturing position at Sonoco Protective Solutions, Inc.?
This position reports directly to Site Materials Manager, and will be responsible for safe, efficient performance within the plant.
Position Responsibilities:
- Production Entry for Molding as well as Secondary Ops
- Job closure
- Environmental reporting
- Data entry for tool setup and work orders
- MROpurchasingand inventory- including supplier management
- Material tracking
- Data entry intoWhirlpack
- Train as a backup in Production/Secondary PackoutScheduling
- Assist with Inventory Control
- Misc. maintenance data entry
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent as well as 3-5 years of work experience withinManufacturing.
- Individuals must beself-starterwith a working knowledge ofmanufacturing and ERP systems
- Must have good verbal and written skills, be computer literate, andpossessproven time management and organizational skills along with problem solving and analytical skills.
- Individuals must be results oriented, organized, and attentive to details.
- Mustpossessstrong customer service skills with the ability to motivateworkforce.
- Flexibility/ability to adapt to change and apply knowledge to a competitive business environment isa must.
- Experience using Microsoft Programs – Excel, Word, Power Point,etc…
- Experience using measure devices –Ruler/Tape measure
