Sono Bello is a fast-paced small surgery center, and we provide our team members advantages that most other medical facilities don't:No work on Holidays or night shifts so you can have a normal/regular life balanceWork in "happy medicine"; treating patients who are excited about improving their livesCompetitive pay and benefitsThe Aesthetic Technician is responsible for delivering excellent patient care first and foremost, ensuring proper execution of body contouring procedures according to policies and training, meeting key performance indicators, and fosteringa spirit of teamwork.Duties and Responsibilities:Embodies the Sono Bello Mission Statement and Core Values by ensuring our patients' safety and experience are the top priority, working with integrity, continually evolving, learning, and collaborating as a team to create a challenging and rewarding culture.Executes and ensures strict HIPAA protocol.Achieves key metrics including monthly sales, upsell targets, and productivity goals. Practices good patient lead management, contact, and outreach practices as needed.Reviews paperwork thoroughly prior to procedure to ensure current medical history, physicalexam, current medication history, and other required elements are present.Performs treatments per company policy and procedure (provided upon hire and available thereafter).Ensures delivery of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errorsRecognizes the need to elevate care to RN and/or Physician for resolution.Demonstrates knowledge of standard precautions, hand hygiene, transmission-based precautions, and personal protective equipment.Practices Quality Improvement measures according to QI policy and AAAHC guidelines.Comprehends Sono Bello's electronic tracking tools and databases. Must be well-informed on updated content and materials therein.Establishes and maintains a secure knowledge and understanding of all policies, procedures, and associated forms. Policies, procedures, and forms are subject to change and an Aesthetic Technicianmust be current on all changes regarding forms.Assumes responsibility for the successful completion of initial and annual training requirements.Attends and participates in scheduled clinic and corporate meetings including staff education, in-services,and clinic staff meetings.Provides back-up support for other administrative staff as necessary.ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Laser Safety; Understands where lasers are being used and that access to these areas should be controlled.Must be proficient in basic computer skills and utilization of MS Office Suite.Must maintain BLS certification.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to write reports and correspondence.Note: This job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive.
