Wage: $23.00 - $25.00, plus tips and commissions
Typical Schedule: Day and Night shifts, weekends and holidays required
Primary Purpose of Position
The Concierge Level I assists guests with recommendations, reservations, and special requests while ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Anticipate and fulfill guest requests, including dining, transportation, activities, and amenities.
Coordinate hotel transportation and communicate with drivers/bell staff to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
Contact guests prior to arrival and departure to confirm transportation and special requests.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors (restaurants, shops, activities, etc.) to enhance guest experiences.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, local events, and area attractions to provide accurate recommendations.
Manage and confirm guest reservations and activities, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
Assist with guest service needs such as lost luggage, ski/equipment storage, housekeeping/maintenance requests, and business center services.
Promote and assist with in-house services, including restaurants, spa, and guided activities.
Support other Front Office and Bellstaff functions as needed (e.g., check-ins, valet, amenities).
Recommended Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year Customer Service experience.
- Experience with HMS or similar Lodging Software preferred.
- Efficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and web based systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and use good judgment.
- Friendly, warm and enthusiastic personality.
- Valid driver’s license with no previous violations.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to stand and walk for full length of shift, up to 12 hours at one time
- Able to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- Routinely handles objects weighing up to 15 lbs and on occasion may be expected to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
