Sonlight Christian Preschool is a nurturing preschool and childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow. We believe in supporting each child’s development through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to join our infant/toddler teaching team. The classroom teacher will work closely with other staff to provide high-quality care, age-appropriate activities, and a positive daily routine for our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
- Follow daily routines including feeding, diapering, and naps
- Plan and engage in developmentally appropriate activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in childcare or early education preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
- Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with young children
Schedule:
