Deburr Operator

Overview
Sonju Industrial is seeking a detail‑oriented Deburr Technician to support finishing operations for precision‑machined aerospace and defense components. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in craftsmanship, enjoy hands‑on work, and can carefully refine parts to meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from machined parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialty deburring equipment
• Inspect surfaces and edges to ensure components meet blueprint and quality requirements
• Use files, stones, sandpaper, rotary tools, and other finishing instruments safely and effectively
• Follow detailed work instructions and maintain compliance with AS9100 quality standards
• Work closely with machinists and quality inspectors to resolve finishing issues
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform basic part handling, cleaning, and packaging as needed
• Track work using production documentation and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Experience in deburring, finishing, or manufacturing preferred, but willing to train the right candidates
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings or instructions
• Familiarity with hand tools and safe tool usage
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs
• Team‑oriented attitude and reliable work ethic

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
