Why This Role?
This is a role where you’ll see the direct impact of your work every day. As Project Coordinator, you’re the critical link between our Sales and Operations teams — the person who makes sure every client installation goes smoothly, on time, and with clear communication throughout. If you’re highly organized, love keeping things running seamlessly, and take pride in delivering a great client experience, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
• Coordinate weekly installation schedules alongside the Operations Manager and Installation Manager, confirming appointments with clients
• Keep clients informed of all schedule changes and project progress through daily, proactive communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all administrative matters related to their installation
• Respond to client requests, inquiries, and concerns with professionalism and timely follow-up
• Review central station reports to confirm new installations are monitored on schedule
• Assist with pre- and post-project documentation and maintain accurate records in the Sedona database
• Participate in project creation within the Sedona system and report day-to-day activities to the Operations Manager
• Provide backup support to the Service Dispatch Coordinator as needed
• Foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere consistent with Sonitrol’s values and business ethics
What We’re Looking For
• Strong communicator — confident and professional in writing, over the phone, and in person
• Exceptionally organized with sharp attention to detail and strong time management
• Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities without dropping the ball
• Self-motivated, persistent, and solutions-focused
• Outgoing, professional demeanor with a talent for building and maintaining business relationships
• Proficient in MS Office; comfortable learning new database systems (Sedona experience a plus)
• Experience in commercial security or a related industry preferred
• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean DMV record required
• Must reside within approximately 25 miles of San Jose
Please note: This is a fully on-site, in-house position. Remote work is not available.
What You’ll Get
• Competitive compensation
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance options
• 401(k) retirement plan
• Paid holidays and vacation time
• A collaborative, supportive team environment
• The stability of joining a nationally recognized company with 40 years of success
