What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Officer position at Sonic Title®?
Sonic Title® is growing, and we're looking to add an experienced Escrow Officer and Title Processor to our team!
📍 This is a full-time, in-office position in Dearborn, MI.
Please note: We are only considering candidates with previous experience working at a title company. Experience in lending, banking, or real estate alone is not sufficient for these roles.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, detail-oriented, can effectively multitask, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience from start to finish.
Title Processor Responsibilities• Review title commitments and clear title requirements before closing
• Order and review payoffs, HOA information, surveys, tax information, and supporting documents
• Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, buyers, and sellers to keep transactions moving efficiently
• Ensure every file is accurate, complete, and ready for closing
Escrow Officer Responsibilities• Manage escrow files from opening through closing
• Prepare and review settlement statements, closing packages, and escrow documents
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the transaction
• Conduct or facilitate signings and notary appointments
• Verify title commitments, resolve title and escrow issues, balance files, and ensure timely disbursement of funds
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and state and federal regulations while delivering outstanding customer service
