Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Carhops. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. As a Carhop, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience by providing excellent service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages to customers at their vehicles promptly and accurately.
- Take customer orders using the Infor POS system, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items to assist customers with their selections and upsell additional items.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including dining areas and service equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Infor POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
