Property Accountant

A rapidly expanding Real Estate organization is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within a fast-paced environment and gain broad exposure across the full real estate lifecycle including acquisitions, property operations, financing, and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly reconciliations and assist with general ledger maintenance
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries
• Support financial reporting and assist with periodic statements
• Review escrow activity and ensure accuracy across accounts
• Partner with AP and AR teams to resolve coding or entry discrepancies
• Participate in process improvements and help strengthen internal controls
• Assist with ad hoc projects as the portfolio continues to scale
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with Yardi (Voyager or similar)
• Experience in real estate or property-related accounting is helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and comfort working collaboratively
  
  
  

Compensation: $85,000-110,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
