Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and train account management and carrier operations staff; oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance tracking to ensure team readiness and culture alignment.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline transaction management, workflow efficiency, and service quality; leverage operational data and technology to optimize performance metrics and resolve stakeholder escalations.
- Growth & Profitability: Collaborate with sales and pricing teams on client onboarding, lane performance, and yield management; conduct Business Reviews (QBRs) and identify growth opportunities within existing portfolios.
- Carrier & Capacity Management: Strengthen network relationships to secure reliable carrier capacity; support carrier onboarding, track key metrics, and manage Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes for service disruptions.
- Experience: 5 years in transportation, freight brokerage, 3PL, or supply chain management with direct exposure to customer-facing and capacity operations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to direct, train, and develop operational teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytical and data-visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and team collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, negotiation, and account management skills, with experience managing pricing strategies and complex operational data.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; college degree required.
- Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) or relevant industry credential.
- Advanced experience leveraging supply chain technologies and business intelligence software.
