Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, developing forecasts, and providing insights to support business planning and strategic decision-making. This role works closely with accounting, finance, and operational teams to monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and operating results.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, providing explanations for significant differences.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify financial trends and potential risks.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
• Support cash flow analysis, expense management, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and increased operational efficiency.
• Assist with special projects, business cases, and ad hoc financial analysis.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or financial planning.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus but not typically required for a mid-level role.

Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
