Controller

Controller is responsible for managing the financial operations, reporting, and internal controls of all locations. This role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with policies, and supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure accurate general ledger entries and oversee account reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, inventory costs, and store profitability.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize loss.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inventory audits and cycle counts to reduce shrinkage and discrepancies.
• Partner with store management to drive financial performance and efficiency.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Support pricing, margin analysis, and promotional effectiveness studies.
• Supervise accounting or administrative staff at the store level.
• Liaise with corporate finance, audit, and operations teams.
• Train store staff on financial procedures and internal controls as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in retail accounting, financial control, or similar roles.
• Experience with POS systems, ERP software, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of retail operations and cost controls.
• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Compensation: $115,000-125,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
