Compensation Analyst
Plymouth Meeting, PA
Permanent | On-Site (5 days per week)
Soni's client is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support the administration, analysis, and execution of enterprise-wide compensation programs. This individual will partner closely with Human Resources, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, data-driven, and compliant. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in compensation administration, reporting, and market analysis.
Responsibilities of the Compensation Analyst:
- Administer base salary, bonus, commission, and equity compensation programs
- Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, and compensation analyses using industry survey data
- Maintain salary structures, pay grades, job architecture, and job leveling frameworks
- Support annual merit increase processes, job evaluations, and FLSA classifications
- Calculate and administer short-term incentive (STI) plans while partnering with Finance on accruals and reporting
- Assist with the administration of Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIP) and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP)
- Maintain compensation data within HRIS and compensation systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Analyze compensation and workforce data, including pay trends, overtime, tenure, and incentive effectiveness
- Develop compensation reports, dashboards, documentation, and training materials
- Serve as a resource to HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance compensation administration and reporting
Requirements of the Compensation Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 3 years of compensation analysis or total rewards experience
- Experience supporting salary structures, market pricing, job evaluations, and incentive compensation programs
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting large datasets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, charts, and data analysis
- Experience with HRIS and compensation systems such as Workday or similar platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000
Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
