We are currently looking for a part time Bilingual Administrative Support Specialist provides administrative, clerical, and customer service support for our client. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients, employees, and community members, communicating effectively in both English and a second language (e.g., Spanish). The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality while supporting multiple departments and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating meetings.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence in both English and the designated second language.
  • Translate written documents, forms, and communications as needed.
  • Interpret conversations and meetings for staff, clients, or visitors when appropriate.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, databases, and records.
  • Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and document management.
  • Welcome visitors and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor communications.
  • Support departmental projects and special initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2 years of administrative support, office administration, customer service, or related experience.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare, education, or professional office environment preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (or other required language), including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM, database management, or scheduling software.
  • Professional translation or interpretation experience.


Compensation: $22-25/hr Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
