Senior Accountant — Publicly Traded Company
Soni's client, a fast-growing public company, is hiring a Senior Accountant to take ownership of close activities and commission accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Own quarterly sales commission calculations, reconciliations, and payouts
- Lead month-end close: journal entries, reconciliations, subledger upkeep, and SOX-compliant analyses
- Prepare and review invoices and memos tied to revenue adjustments
- Support SEC reporting deadlines and internal/external audits
- Find inefficiencies and drive automation and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or similar; 3–6 years of experience
- Strong US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel; Oracle EBS a plus
- Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
