Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role at our practice located in Clermont, FL. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with patient care, managing medical records, and ensuring the efficient operation of the medical office. Duties include taking patient histories, recording vital signs, preparing examination rooms, assisting providers during procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation within the medical records system.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and understanding of Medical Terminology
- Experience working in a Medical Office and managing administrative tasks
- Skilled in providing Patient Care and ensuring a compassionate, patient-focused environment
- Knowledge of handling and maintaining Medical Records according to regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus
- Previous experience in a family practice setting is advantageous
