As a small business owner, I chose other small, local businesses to partner with; our coffees are sourced from Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, our loose leaf teas and chai come from Maya Tea Company in Tucson and our kombucha comes from Milly Moon Kombucha here in Phoenix.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage cash drawer operations, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at the end of each shift
- Conduct retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, returns, and financial transactions with precision
- Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options, processing loan applications, and assisting with loan collections when necessary
- Enter data efficiently into financial software systems, maintaining accurate records of sales and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Experience
- Previous retail sales or retail store experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with banking or financial services environments adds value to your application
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions, cash management, and retail math calculations
- Experience with data entry and processing cash transactions demonstrates your attention to detail
- Knowledge of retail lending processes, loan processing, and loan collections is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills are crucial for building rapport and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle a cash drawer accurately while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
