Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Restock food and beverage stations with supplies as needed
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest service
- Manage food handling responsibilities following safety protocols
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when applicable
- Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to ensure a tidy environment
- Support catering or banquet setups if required
- Follow proper food safety procedures and maintain hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy breakfast hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred; kitchen experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours, including weekends if necessary
- Customer service-oriented attitude with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Basic culinary skills including meal preparation, food presentation, and possibly knife skills or meat cutting are beneficial
- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings, including serving or host/host roles, is desirable
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
