Job Summary
The House person (Houseman) plays a vital role in supporting the daily smooth operation of our hotel. you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and attention to detail will ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment where cleanliness and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain Common Areas: Regularly clean, sweep, mop and power wash public spaces, including the lobby, hallways, fitness center, and public restrooms.
- Support Room Attendants: Distribute clean linens, towels, and guest amenities to housekeeping across the property. Heavy lifting and removing heavy trash/soiled linens from guest floors are required.
- Laundry Operations: Assist with stripping rooms, sorting, washing, drying, and folding hotel linens and towels.
- Guest Service: Respond quickly and professionally to special guest requests (e.g., delivering extra pillows, blankets, towels,).
- Outdoor Care: This is and outdoor property, You will help maintain the upkeep of our outdoor courtyard space and pool surrounding areas & power wash areas throughout the property .
- Safety & Compliance: Follow hotel sanitation procedures, safe chemical handling guidelines, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, janitorial, facilities cleaning, or general hospitality operations is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate!
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift or push up to 50 lbs (including heavy laundry carts).
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays based on hotel occupancy.
- Team Mindset: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, and Maintenance.
