Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure a pristine environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by polishing, buffing, and performing carpet cleaning as needed to uphold quality standards
- Conduct sanitation procedures in kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-touch areas to promote health and safety
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and courteously
- Follow housekeeping management protocols to document completed tasks and report maintenance issues or safety hazards
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning, polishing, and buffing
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with laundry operations and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Familiarity with housekeeper management systems or routines is a plus
- Prior outdoor work experience or custodial experience is advantageous
