Job Title: Project Manager(Data)

Location: Nashville TN

Department: Enterprise Data Management (EDM)

Reports To: Data Reporting Manager


Position Summary

The Data Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of small to mid-sized data, integration, and automation initiatives. This role functions as a hybrid Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Data Analyst, ensuring projects are effectively planned, executed, and aligned to business objectives.

This position serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable work while driving projects to completion. The Data Delivery Lead also supports agile delivery practices, facilitates team coordination, and ensures solutions meet quality, performance, and data integrity expectations.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of small to medium-sized data, integration, and automation projects
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Drive execution to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Provide clear and consistent status reporting to stakeholders and leadership
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Data Engineering, Integrations, Automation, and Governance


Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
  • Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
  • Maintain and prioritize delivery backlogs aligned to business priorities
  • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in requirements and solution design


Data Analysis & Solution Support

  • Perform data analysis to support requirements validation and solution development
  • Assist with data validation, testing, and troubleshooting of data-related issues
  • Support development and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and data solutions
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and data quality standards


Agile & Scrum Practices

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Track progress and remove obstacles to maintain delivery momentum
  • Promote agile best practices and continuous improvement across teams


Technical Alignment

  • Maintain a foundational understanding of:
  • Data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
  • System integrations (APIs, file-based, middleware)
  • Automation and workflow solutions (RPA, process automation)
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise data architecture and governance standards


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or data-focused roles
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and SQL concepts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment


Preferred

  • Experience working with healthcare data (clinical, operational, or financial)
  • Familiarity with:
  • Data platforms (SQL Server, Azure, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS)
  • Integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft or similar)
  • Automation/RPA tools
  • Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
