Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Stone Mason Apprentice role located in South Deerfield, MA. As a Stone Mason Apprentice, you will assist experienced masons in constructing and repairing stone structures, including walls, walkways, and other custom stone features. Responsibilities include handling and organizing materials, mixing mortar, cutting and shaping stone, and learning foundational masonry techniques. The role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting the team's day-to-day operations. This position provides hands-on training to foster skill development and mastery in stone masonry craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Eagerness to develop masonry skills, including cutting, shaping, and laying stones
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Basic understanding of tools and equipment related to masonry work and a willingness to learn their proper use
• Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to supporting project goals
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and work environments
• Reliable work ethic and punctuality
• Prior experience in construction or masonry is a plus but not required
