Description
The ICDS Manager is the Inventory Control accuracy and research process owner accountable for driving reliable and visible inventory accuracy that drives operational compliance and efficiency. This role focuses on translating root cause analysis into sustainable process control and directly manages the Inventory Control Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Design & Documentation: Leads the development and finalization of all inventory related SOPs for Receiving, Dock-to-Stock, and Putaway to achieve the goal of 100% receipt and putaway compliance.
- RCCA Authority: Leads the RCCA Loop process, reviewing the root cause findings and issuing formal, documented corrective action (e.g., process change, retraining mandate).
- Strategic Project Execution: Supports ICDS Director with the planning, design, and internal rollout of key initiatives that drive inventory accuracy and WMS/ERP system reviews.
- WMS Location Reconciliation: Manages and executes the phased reconciliation of the assigned high-risk WMS locations and processes.
- Cross-Functional Management: Conducts daily and weekly performance handoffs with the ICDS Night Shift Supervisor and collaborates with Production and Shipping Managers to ensure alignment on inventory availability and schedules.
- Talent Management: Direct oversight and coaching of the ICDS team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience: 3 years of management experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center, with a proven track record in inventory control, process improvement
- Skills: Expertise in WMS/ERP systems and advanced knowledge of warehouse best practices. Direct experience in Finale, SAP, Oracle, ShipStation, ShopWorks a plus.
- Traits: Exceptional leadership skills, strong written and verbal communication and proven ability to drive cultural change and accountability.
