Description
Job Title: Driver
Reports To: Director of Operations
Summary: Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record with a minimum of two years of experience driving a 14’ Box Truck with regular brakes and a 26’ Truck with air brakes in New York & New Jersey. Deliveries and pickups occur 7 days per week, with some occurring late at night or early in the morning. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse and customer service experience be able to interact with our customers in a professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Loads, unloads and transfers merchandise to designated area in accordance with delivery paperwork
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as tables, chairs and other items
- Perform deliveries and pickups using dollies and hand trucks
- Verifies, counts and records merchandise counts on paperwork
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned
- Perform truck audit inspections as required for DOT
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Ensure the delivery team is following processes and safety rules when on the road

Experience driving in NYC, Connecticut, NJ and Philadelphia. (major deliveries in NYC)
Physical Demands:
Lifting 50 -75 pounds regularly
Testing rental equipment as needed with the ability to explain process to customer
Assembly of rental equipment as required: Tables, dance floor and staging
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of two years driving experience
Certifications/Licenses:
CDL license preferred, but not required
Valid Drivers License- must meet insurance underwriting requirements
