Job Summary:
The Maintenance/Electrical technician will assist with general maintenance/electrical in the facility.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
- Basic maintenance/electrical knowledge
- Some welding, cutting and fabrication knowledge
- Knowledge of 120/220/480 electricity
- Ability to read basic electrical blueprints
- Knowledge of control circuits including relays, motor starters, etc.
- Knowledge of PLCs, drives and servos
- Basic computer/tablet skills
Education and Experience:
- Basic maintenance/electrical knowledge
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
