Production Level II

Somar Industries is hiring a Production Level II team member for our Wet Room, mixing and blending materials for our conventional and synthetic stucco products. This role is cross-trained across our mixing, tint base, and chemicals processes, and plays a key part in making sure every batch that leaves our plant is consistent, accurate, and ready for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Set up, maintain, and tend machines to mix or blend materials for conventional and synthetic stucco products
• Complete cross-training in the mixing process, the tint base process, and the chemicals process, and produce consistent results every time
• Maintain weight consistency and product density to meet quality control standards
• Complete batch sheets, paperwork, and assembly sheets accurately 100% of the time
• Package, palletize, and stretch wrap finished product for storage or shipment
• Verify trucks are accurately loaded and unloaded with the correct materials for deliveries; double-check all loads and deliveries
• Keep production and warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times
• Report damaged material to the Plant Manager promptly for inspection
• Update the Production Supervisor on any maintenance needed on company machinery, vehicles, and forklifts

What We're Looking For

• 1 year of experience working with construction materials, preferably interior and exterior coatings, is a plus
• 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing facility is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Good communication skills and a safety-first mindset
• Comfortable working with basic math — candidates must pass a math assessment
• Certified Forklift License is a plus — if expired, Somar will help you get re-certified
• Ability to lift/move items up to 80 lbs and be active on your feet throughout the shift
