Solvus Global is a technology innovation hub where we don't just design—we build and launch. We are seeking a Principal Rocket Systems Consultant to leverage their Knowledge Capital to develop critical solutions. This role is intended for an industry veteran ready to support rapid innovation in component design, testing, and manufacturing. You will act as a strategic advisor, helping to hone designs and ensure our manufacturing innovations meet the rigorous standards of the propulsion industry.
Required Attributes & Skills
- Must be a US Person according to FAR22 CFR 120.15 -US Person
- 15 years of experience in rocket propulsion (specifically SRM), suitable for a senior engineer or industry veteran
- Deep understanding of solid or liquid rocket motor physical geometry and design tradeoffs (stress, temperature, propellant)
- Expert knowledge of propulsion system or component qualificati125on processes and procedures
- Demonstrated history of technical success, ie: successful Product Design Reviews, Verification/Validation test campaigns, or Qualification test campaigns, or Qualified flight hardware at major aerospace organizations or within high-stakes propulsion programs
- Ability to lead and guide teams, communicate technical vision, and offer on-the-job coaching to development engineers
Advantageous Attributes & Skills
- Experience leveraging additive manufacturing to solve complex propulsion design challenges
- Knowledge of reactive materials design or high-temperature capable materials
- Experience with basic project management functions, such as task prioritization, scheduling, or tracking

Pay Range: $125 – $200 / hour
Disclosure Statement: This hourly rate range is a good-faith estimate, and the final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, skills, and our internal equity analysis.
