Job description
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment
- Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Diesel Mechanic Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to solder and weld
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (CDL license preferred but not required)
