What is needed in the role
- Experience with indirect purchasing; The candidate will need to be very experienced with 7 plus years of experience in strategic sourcing.
- Candidates must have experience handling multi-million dollar contracts.
- Heavily strategic sourcing abilities required, including: Identifying and articulating the needs of the different divisional & dept stakeholders.
- Coordinating and conducting sourcing events.
- Creating and executing RFP's.
- Contract negotiations; commercialization experience.
- Creating scorecards & SLA's.
- Analyzing data; project management.
- Risk management experience.
- Strong strategic sourcing experience instead of operations, supply chain, or buyer experience
- Experience supported multiple business functions or client groups.
- This is NOT a buyer, supply chain, or general procurement operations role
- Candidates should have experience in supplier, contract, category management- planning experience is a plus.
- Strong system experience needed utilizing: Microsoft Office, Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SharePoint, and DocuSign.
- The candidate will be an individual contributor, assisting with multiple projects, relationship building with vendors and teams, strategic sourcing, RFP's, conduct transactional items, along with the day-to-day duties of the role..
