Position Description:
This role involves executing and managing all aspects of cost accounting and inventory valuation functions within the organization. Responsibilities encompass the maintenance of accurate product costs, management of inventory lifecycles (Raw, WIP, and FG), undertaking variance analysis, maintaining the general ledger, and providing critical data to support manufacturing efficiency.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain accurate standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead, ensuring regular updates and audits of multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings.
· Manage the end-to-end inventory accounting process for Raw Materials, Work-in-Process (WIP), and Finished Goods.
· Execute monthly inventory reconciliations between the sub-ledger and the general ledger to ensure precision and integrity.
· Analyze and report on manufacturing variances, including Material Usage, Labor Efficiency, and Overhead Absorption.
· Maintain fixed asset records and ensure capital spending adheres to corporate policies and GAAP standards.
· Guarantee the meticulous logging of all capital expenditure requests, including formal approvals.
· Collaborate with production teams on inventory control, cycle counting, and the identification of excess or obsolete (E&O) stock.
· Execute monthly financial closing processes by preparing statements, reports, and journal entries related to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
· Develop revenue projections and expense forecasts based on production capacity and historical cost data.
· Verify the precision and integrity of cost accounting reports and systems, recommending enhancements to internal controls.
· Identify and resolve accounting variations, audit discrepancies, and inventory valuation issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies by adhering to all established safety protocols and ESD procedures to protect sensitive electronic components.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer literacy is essential, along with the ability to read, write, review, and approve documentation.
- Participate in company-sponsored and specialized training programs to enhance skills and professional development.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Extensive experience within the manufacturing industry and mastery of inventory reconciliation (Raw, WIP, and FG) is required.
· Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as applied to cost accounting.
· CMA certification is preferred.
· Demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication.
· Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
· Expertise in Microsoft Excel & Google Applications
· Minimum 3-5 years of technical cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or 10 years of experience within the manufacturing accounting field.
· Exceptional knowledge of budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
· Proficiency with ERP software systems and experience with system implementations or cost-module optimizations.
· Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements for manufacturing efficiency.
· Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; Access, database, or other system knowledge
· Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Physical Requirements: Employees are required to regularly alternate between sitting, standing, and walking, contingent upon the demands of each job or task. Responsibilities include bending, pushing, and pulling equipment throughout the facility, in addition to the occasional operation of various warehouse machinery. Computer proficiency is essential, necessitating extended periods of sitting while utilizing computer and telephone systems. Employees should anticipate dedicating the majority of their work hours to computer-related tasks.
This position demands significant stamina for the effective execution of job duties. The role requires consistent engagement in diverse physical tasks throughout each workday, including but not limited to:

Regular operating hours are established as 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required contingent upon business demands. Ability to be on-call and respond to facility issues outside of regular working hours is mandatory.
