Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic & Rebuild Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and proven expertise in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery and mechanical systems, with particular experience in the following areas:
- Gearboxes and gear ratios
- Bearings (replace/inspect/placement)
- Reading blueprints
- Disassemble and reassemble stands
- Micrometers/calipers/dial indicators
- Understanding tolerance and clearance measurements
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity in a fast-paced industrial environment with competitive pay ranging from $32 to $36 per hour, depending on experience PLUS $100 per diem each day. 40 hrs per week, day shift. 12 hr shifts (7:00-7:00). Normal workdays are Mon-Fri with occasional work on Saturday if needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Mechanical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including the repair and maintenance of gearboxes, bearing replacement, etc.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical diagrams, and schematics. Caliper experience a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to complete timely and efficient repairs.
- Safety Minded: Demonstrated understanding and practice of OSHA safety regulations.
- Team-Oriented: Positive attitude and strong communication skills for working within a collaborative environment.
