Job Description
We are recruiting for a SharePoint Analyst to work on a Content Modernization project. This project is scheduled for 3 years and will involve working with the project team to move from legacy content management systems to SharePoint Online. The SharePoint Analyst is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online environments to support enterprise collaboration, content management, and business process automation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed business analysis to gather requirements for SharePoint solutions
- Design and configure SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions
- Configure information architecture, metadata, and content types to improve usability and searchability
- Implement governance policies to maintain data integrity and compliance standards
- Migrate content from legacy systems to SharePoint Online libraries
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power BI
- Train and support end users on best practices and SharePoint features to improve user adoption and experience
- Stay current with Microsoft365 and SharePoint Online updates and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience with SharePoint Online
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions for SharePoint and/or Power Platform
- Hands on experience with SharePoint configuration and administration
- Experience with Power Platform
- Experience with ShareGate or similar migration tools a plus
- Knowledge of AvePoint suite of products a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
