What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Technician I position at SOLTESZ?
The Survey Technician will perform surveying duties to assist the Survey Lead. These duties include:
- Read and interpret property deeds
- Prepare deed composite
- Prepare boundary surveys and the associated metes and bounds descriptions
- Prepare ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and the ability to review title commitments and reports
- Prepare WSSC easements
- Prepare various types of easements, including the associated metes and bounds descrptions
- Prepare subdivision plats
- Process topographic surveys
- Compute construction stakeout
- Process construction stakeout field notes and prepare cut sheets
- Interpret construction drawings
- Have a familiarity with surveying field procedures and equipment
- Prepare WSSC water and sewer asbuilt drawings
- Prepare house wall checks and final house location drawings
- Prepare condominium drawings
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience, preferably some time working in Maryland, a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a good driving record. Must be able to perform physical tasks. Must be detail oriented, accurate and work well with others. Additionally, must be dependable and have a positive team player attitude. This is a full-time position and ability to work overtime as needed is required.
Salary : $30 - $32
