Senior Land Surveyor

Looking for an opportunity to lead surveying efforts on a variety of land development projects throughout the Washington metropolitan area?
Soltesz is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our Rockville team. This role combines technical surveying expertise, project coordination, client interaction, and survey crew leadership in support of residential, commercial, and right-of-way projects.
What You'll Do
✅ Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction layout surveys
✅ Prepare plats, easements, legal descriptions, and metes and bounds descriptions
✅ Coordinate daily activities of survey crews
✅ Work closely with clients, municipalities, and project teams
✅ Support land development and right-of-way projects throughout the region
✅ Ensure high-quality survey deliverables and compliance with professional standards
What We're Looking For
✔ Registered Land Surveyor in Maryland
✔ 10 years of surveying and land development experience
✔ AutoCAD proficiency (MicroStation experience preferred)
✔ Strong knowledge of agency requirements and surveying standards
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔ Montgomery County experience preferred
