We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Operations Coordinator for our Alaska North Slope district. In this vital position, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operational activities and providing safety and technical support for the thru-tubing Downhole Operations Team and customers, in addition to other divisions within Quadco.
As a North Slope Operations Coordinator, the successful candidate will have the qualifications and experience as set out below. Training on job specific equipment, software, and services to be provided to successful candidates.
This position reports to the North Slope Operations Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist North Slope Supervisors with managing and directing workflow for downhole, instrumentation and solids control product lines.
- Assist as needed with customer service.
- Supervise Product Line Technicians (Shop Hands).
- Pre-job research, equipment loadouts, BHA Drawings as needed.
- Pre and post Job documentation, including redress and inspection records.
- Ability to supervise field operations on-site, as needed for coiled tubing, wireline and rigs.
- Tool and associated equipment disassembly, assembly, measurement and testing.
- Physical and electronic inventory management; including company and third party, as required.
- Shipping and logistics.
- Research and troubleshoot special projects.
- Fleet management, and maintenance as required.
- Assist maintaining compliance with company and customer policy and procedures.
- Facility maintenance.
- Ordering required equipment, supplies, inventory, parts, etc.
- HSE Recordkeeping.
- Pull and package solids control screen orders as needed.
Operational Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Thru-Tubing Well Intervention and Integrity work.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Detailed knowledge of the Alaska oil & gas market preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of oil field experience in Thru-Tubing Well Intervention and Integrity operations (Alaska North Slope experience preferred).
- Knowledge of downhole tools, equipment and operations.
- Ability to disassemble, clean and assemble downhole tools and equipment.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues with tools and equipment.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License
- Possession of, or ability to obtain NSTC safety certification.
- Ability to work legally in the U.S.A.
- Rotational schedule; 3 weeks on/3 weeks off. Occasionally be required to report to rotation early or hold over as required. 6:00 am to 6:00 pm work day; must be available after hours.
- Successfully pass a comprehensive background check/motor vehicle report and drug/alcohol screening.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision as an integral part of an effective team.
