Sr. Firmware Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5 years of relevant design experience with PCI interfaces & Design of interface blocks for serial busses: JTAG, SPI and I2C
• Firmware design tools such as Verilog and the FPGA vendor tools for place and route.
• Experience with FPGA controlling board functions with Programmable Power Supplies, Pin Electronics, ADCs, and other functional blocks

Responsibilities:

• Develop a portion of the Test Controller firmware as shown below.
• Design the PCIe interface section.
• Design interface blocks for various serial buses: JTAG, SPI and I2C
• Design the DRAM controllers
• Design the bus interface block which will be used to communicate with internal
• FPGA blocks as well as blocks controlling the board functions such as the
• Programmable Power Supplies, Pin Electronics, ADCs, and other functional blocks in the channel module.
• Make sure these blocks are functional via simulation initially and then on the hardware when available.
• Work with the hardware design team and the software team to assist bring-up and driver development.
• Maintain and update relevant documentation and records as required.
