Manufacturing Project Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing with 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
• Direct experience managing greenfield facility setups or the transfer of production lines.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin and English to facilitate technical discussions across global regions.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a detailed project plan outlining every phase of the manufacturing line transfer and monitoring critical deadlines.
• Oversee the decommissioning, installation, and calibration of machinery and specialized tooling at the new site.
• Ensure all technical manuals, engineering drawings, and work instructions are updated and accurately transferred.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to align on project needs.
• Identify project risks and bottlenecks early to implement effective mitigation strategies and backup plans.
