What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at SoloPoint Solutions?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related technical preferred
- SolidWorks or other 3D CAD (must be willing to learn SolidWorks)
- 4 years of manufacturing engineering experience with hydraulics, hose/fittings, valves, or irrigation products
- Previous experience designing and validating automated manufacturing equipment as well as implementing improvements to manufacturing processes
- Must have hands-on, mechanical aptitude - previous experience troubleshooting or maintaining process equipment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar regulatory framework
- Familiarity with fabrication processes such as CNC machining, grinding, and industrial automation (PLC controls, electrical systems, etc.)
- Experience with lean manufacturing, kaizen, and qualification activities
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, build, and validation of new process automation equipment and tooling
- Create manufacturing related documentation including maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, calibration SOPs, training guides
- Lead process improvement and optimization efforts including lean manufacturing, equipment and facility layout
- Support root cause investigations utilizing 8D and 5-Why
- Responsible for equipment validation, qualification, measurement system analysis (MSA)
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
