Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5 plus years of experience in equipment engineering, manufacturing engineering, or production support within electromechanical, thermal systems, or related industrial manufacturing environments.
- Experience using CAD and production systems such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, plus ERP/MRP tools such as SAP, for equipment documentation and parts tracking.
- Hands-on equipment support competency, including diagnosing failures, performing machine repair, and restoring equipment to production readiness.
- Experience with preventive maintenance planning, anticipating replacement needs, and ordering parts based on wear trends, downtime history, and critical spares strategy.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods, PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and thermal schematics; familiarity with pressure testing and thermal cycling is a plus.
Responsibilitie
- sOwn day-to-day equipment uptime by troubleshooting issues, performing machine repair, coordinating vendor support as needed, and verifying equipment performance after restoration
- .Build and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, service records, and standard work to reduce unplanned downtime and repeat failures
- .Anticipate parts replacement needs, manage critical spares, and execute timely ordering of parts and consumables to support production continuity
- .Support equipment installation, setup, calibration, and commissioning activities, including documentation updates and safety checks
- .Drive continuous improvement by analyzing downtime and defect data, leading RCA and corrective actions, and partnering with manufacturing and quality teams to stabilize processes
