A growing family office is seeking an experienced Real Estate Controller to lead accounting, reporting, and financial operations across a diverse portfolio of properties, development projects, and investment entities.
Salary up to 180k 100% remote with travel once a month for meetings in the Philadelphia area
Key Responsibilities
• Full-cycle accounting for multiple real estate and investment LLCs
• Monthly/quarterly financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings, and development transactions
• Manage tax workpapers, K-1 coordination, and lender reporting
• Oversee treasury, cash management, intercompany activity & capital accounts
• Partner directly with principals on financial insights, risks, and strategic decisions
• Lead process improvements and special project analysis across the family office
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s in Accounting Active CPA
• 7–12 years of progressive real estate accounting/finance experience
• Strong multi-entity, intercompany, and consolidation experience
• Skilled in presenting financials to principals, lenders, and executives
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with modern accounting systems
• Preferred: controller-level experience, development exposure, and knowledge of loan/partnership agreements
