Process Engineer
Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Process Engineer for their Mountain Top, PA area location.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for material production line technical support, including machinery operation analysis and process equipment implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of mainline and slitter process targets and product control limits
- Performing output data process deviations and targets/variations shifts evaluations
- Troubleshooting and responding to process and quality issues
- Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives development, support, and implementation
- Providing equipment processes and qualifications coordination and support
- Performing visual inspections of production line and observing roll quality and fabric samples
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance on quality concerns and issues investigations and resolution
- Overseeing tracking, activities coordination, and PM schedules
- Tracking and maintaining operation PM task list
- Assisting with SOPs and WI development and maintenance
- Providing 24/7 line support and setting up coverage as needed
Skills/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3-5 years manufacturing or material production experience
- Engineering and manufacturing theory experience
- Manufacturing lines knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively independently in a fast paced environment
- Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MES, Infor proficiency
Additional Details:
Salary $65-$75k
