Financial Analyst (Contract) – Technical Shared Services & Network Security
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support two critical business lanes within a Shared Services organization and Network Security. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and is comfortable stepping into ambiguity to drive immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Focus (First 1–2 Weeks):
- Manage purchase order (PO) approvals and headcount (HC) request approvals
- Perform data extraction, reporting, and validation
- Support administrative and operational workflows to build trust with stakeholders
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of recurring reporting and dashboards
- Deliver financial and operational analysis to support decision-making
- Partner with stakeholders across Technical Shared Services and Network Security
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support for leadership requests
- Contribute to topline P&L visibility and forecasting support
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience
Advanced proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Strong foundation in FP&A principles and financial analysis
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau
- Familiarity with HRIS tools such as Workday
- Knowledge of SQL or BigQuery
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/forecasting tools
- Background in the SaaS industry

Work Environment

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $50-60/hr
