Executive Director

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and vision to advance the organization’s mission and long-term impact.
This role is responsible for guiding organizational strategy, supporting program excellence, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring sustainable growth through effective leadership, fundraising, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Organizational Management
• Provide strategic leadership and overall management of organizational programs and operations
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team
• Ensure strong operational systems for program delivery, financial management, and administration
• Monitor performance metrics and program outcomes to ensure impact and accountability
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to guide strategy and organizational growth
Partnerships & Community Engagement
• Serve as the primary ambassador for the organization within the community 🤝
• Engage volunteers, board members, alumni, and partner organizations
• Build and strengthen relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and partner organizations
• Represent the organization publicly and communicate program impact and success
Fundraising & Development
• Lead fundraising strategies to support program sustainability and growth
• Strengthen donor relationships and expand revenue-generating opportunities
• Enhance the organization’s brand, communications, and public visibility 📣
Strategic Growth & Planning
• Guide long-term strategic planning and organizational expansion
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, innovation, and program growth
• Support the development of new initiatives and expansion into additional communities
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership or management experience
• Demonstrated success leading teams and managing organizational operations
Preferred
• Advanced degree (MBA or similar)
• Experience leading or scaling nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
• Experience working with nonprofit boards and community stakeholders
