- Salary: $85-$95k
- Ensure all team members strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in all tasks.
- Coordinate production resources efficiently by assigning associates to appropriate workstations based on real-time production needs and priorities.
- Oversee and support all manufacturing operations, including blending, milling, and product inspection, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Lead, coach, and train associates to achieve consistent performance, foster professional development, and maintain high standards of productivity and service.
- Promote and enforce compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations while cultivating a positive and accountable work environment.
- Communicate the department’s long-term vision and daily goals effectively, motivating the team and leading by example.
- Monitor workflow to maintain smooth operations, analyze production data, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Utilize computer systems and manufacturing software to track production metrics, update schedules, and generate detailed reports for management review.
- Inspect and monitor all equipment regularly, ensuring timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Provide thorough training on safe and effective equipment use, emphasizing precision and attention to operational details.
- Collaborate closely with associates on the production floor to verify that all products meet quality standards and organizational expectations.
- Assign daily tasks, set clear priorities, and schedule activities to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Facilitate clear communication and coordination between vendors, associates, and management to ensure operational success and accountability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements; specific functions and documentation procedures will be covered during GMP and on-the-job training.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective supervisory practices, leadership principles, and team development.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (required).
- Experience working within FDA-regulated and GMP-compliant industries.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with production management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making under pressure.
- Adaptable and open to change, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Customer- and associate-focused, committed to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or supervisory training preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
- Willingness to work extended hours or additional shifts as needed to meet production and business demands.
